First it was the Queensland Police, now it’s NSW Police!
Two weeks ago, we reported the Queensland Police Service had leaked a licensee’s personal information and details about a proposed importation to members of the public. Now, the Daily Telegraph reports today:
In a dangerous security breach that could see unlicensed criminals buy ammunition for powerful weapons, 104 NSW firearm licences were sent to incorrect postal addresses by Service NSW.
It is increasingly obvious that the firearms registries are shopping lists for criminals. There are clearly several ways criminals can readily infiltrate the firearms registries and work out who they want to steal from today.
The crooks already know they can get a list of firearms you own from the Police
Write to your Police Minister today and make it clear: the Police should get serious about security RIGHT NOW.
