Police decision-making about the classification of firearms
We’ve recently hit brick walls with the Tasmanian Police when we asked for their written reasons for deciding the Warwick Firearms WFA1 was a prohibited firearm. A kindly shooter recently applied for documents about Queensland Police Weapons Licensing Branch made decisions and consulted with Australian Customs about firearms classification of straight-pull rifles. We’ve illustrated their answer.
